About Melissa + TGC

Melissa asked for the CRUNCH Gym “Pick Your Spot Pilates” DVD after seeing it in Best Buy for her birthday. After more than 17 years of personal practice, she became comprehensively certified in the Pilates repertoire in 2022.

After her completion, Take Good Care Pilates was born to build a community that reflected a real-world POV on how beneficial a movement practice can be for everyone. TGC's mat Pilates programs are our offering to restore and refuel the bodies and spirits of all who want to be.

Melissa is a full-time Pilates instructor hosting apparatus-based private + semi-private sessions online and in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
